I was thinking about a rogue/ninja/assassin type with as much attacks as possible (with an decent attack bonus = TWF, ITWF, GTWF) to optimize.

Ninja, Monk, Fighter*, Iaijutsu Master, Ninja Spy
* Just for the feat dip-in if it is unavoidable.

But on a second thought this build doesn't seem to be as powerfull as I wanted to:

Iaijutsu Focus only works on flat-footed** opponents.
Sudden Strike is inferior to Sneak Attack.

** That means it is only possible to use it effectively with TWF when you are starting combat with a surprise round and then only for the first round.

So I thought about involving other classes like:

Rogue [Nothing to say about...]
Monk [Is it worth it to dip-in for Stunning Fist with Ascetic Rogue and Pain Touch Feat?]
Ninja [Maybe 3 levels for Ghost Step and Poison Use?]
Swashbuckler [Seems pretty nice for BAB and Sneak with the Daring Outlaw Feat]
...?

Prestige Classes:

Assassin [I think this PrC is really ok, the Spells are a nice addition]
Ninja Spy [I know, it isn't really optimized, but it gets Improved Evasion and Hide in Plain Sight early which really kicks ass imho and the requirements are easy to fullfill]
Telflammar Shadowlord
...?

I want to avoid builds which limits some basic rogue abilities, so it is nice to have a optimized TWF build which can dish godlike amounts of damage but lacks in all other jobs.

Jobs in the Party:

Scout [Not necessarily have to have Spot/Listen, but Search, Disable Device, Hide and Move Silently, Tumble are a must]
Damage [Sneak this and that ... and that with max. possible attacks like GTWF]
Survivability [He must not die :P High AC, Saves etc. recommended]

Items:
Self constructed items are in general no problems like "Boots of Expeditious Retreat" or "Ring of Reduce Person" ...

Sources:
Assume all, but 3.0, Dragon Magazine and non-official content are suspect to DM's approval.
So, some 3.0 material should be ok, while other's maybe broken.
Dragon Magazine is somehow "suspicious" to most players (including DM) and non-official is mostly considered "uber" and therefore a nono :P
Also, avoid using _really_ broken/abused stuff like (don't know any sneak'ish 'cause I'm almost always play clerics) Divine Metamagic (Persistent) & Nightsticks etc ...

So, I have absolutely no idea which classes to take to get a nice minmaxed rogue :)
