First of all: Hello, nice to meet you :D
Now thats out of the way, I am working on a Bladesinger PC and was hoping for some constructive input.

What I have so far:
Sun-Elf
str 16
dex 24*
con 12
int 19
wis 13
cha 14
*includes magical equipment aquired.

ftr1 mind over body, combat expertise
ftr2 weapon focus(longsword)**

**yes i know with my dex that rapier is better, but i just dont like the flavor
---------------------------------

What i am planning:
1 ftr1 mind over body, combat expertise
2 ftr2 weapon focus
3 ftr3 dodge
4 ftr4 combat reflexes
5 ftr4/wiz1
6 ftr4/wiz2 combat casting
7 ftr4/wiz2/bds1
8 ftr4/wiz2/bds2
9 ftr4/wiz2/bds3 mobility
10 ftr4/wiz2/bds4
11 ftr4/wiz2/bds5 spring attack
12 ftr4/wiz2/bds6 weapon specialization
13 ftr4/wiz2/bds7
14 ftr4/wiz2/bds8 improved critical(longsword)
15 ftr4/wiz2/bds9 arcane strike
16 ftr4/wiz2/bds10

This leaves me four levels that are blank and I'm not entirely sure what to do with them. I also get the feeling that I can get a little more out of this character in the first six to seven levels. Any thoughts? I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm going to be the first to say it because I know it will be said very quickly. Bladesinger is only a good PrC for a short dip (mainly for the intelligence synergies you gain with Bladesong Style). The 1/2 Spellcaster Progression is deplorable especially with only a 3/4 BAB. It is primarily a good class for flavor purposes only. I would suggest taking a short dip into and instead of fighter levels, drop levels of Swashbuckler for even greater Intelligence Synergy.

It might also work if you could work in some levels of Assassin rather than Wizard that way you get a pretty good spell list that helps you more in combat.

Tweedledope got most of it right - Bladesinger actually has full BAB, which makes it somewhat less awful, but not enough to make it decent. The Complete Warrior edition of the Bladesinger is generally regarded as the worst of any printed Bladesinger. The best is probably the one found in Races of Faerun.

Hrrm thankyou for the input.
right now I am looking at fighter2/wizard2/swashbuckler3/bladesinger1/spellsword4/eldrichknight8
(although not in that specific order)
if my math isnt sucking, that puts me at:
bab 17
CL 13
plus quite a few nice wifties and good flexibility. Thoughts?

Go Spellsword 5/Eldritch Knight 7 - no further loss of caster levels, but you can wear heavier armor. Try this (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=150451) thread for more ideas.
