Timespike 11-16-06, 01:15 AM	Inspired by this thread (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?p=10655821#post10655821) I made the following outline of a very flavorful, cool BBEG; a former elven druid that has turned his back on all he once held precious and walked away, but I'm having some trouble with feat choice. Ideas? Druid 3/Dread Necromancer 4/Mystic theurge 2/Blighter 3/Arcane Hierophant 7/Dread Necromancer 3 Race: Elf Feats: 1 3 6 Tomb-Tainted Soul 9 Battlecaster (Medium) 12 Natural Spell 15 18
SmiloDan 11-16-06, 09:34 AM	Sounds like the BBEGal in my campaign, Verdegris. But she's an illborn Nymph Blighter 3/Sorcerer 4/Arcane Hierophant 7. I may have to steal the Dread Necromancer idea from you, if you don't mind. I gave her Improved Counterspell, Weapon Finesse, a couple Practiced Spellcasters, Natural Bond, and Improved Spell Capacity (she's 21st level). But I do have some empty feat slots open. Natural Spell seems like a definite. Tomb-Tainted Soul seems like it would fit too. Note: I am using some DM caveats here. 1st, Verdegris was a nymph that was horribly scarred by green dragon's breath. Therefore she lost her Blinding Beauty ability and gained a Hag's Horrific Appearance ability. She also sacrificed her innate racial Druid spellcasting to qualify for the Blighter class. Third, she doesn't have the Trackless Step feature required by the Arcane Hierophant, but she's evil so she can cheat. :P

SmiloDan 11-16-06, 10:58 AM	You might not need the Battlecaster feat. Arcane Hierophants can cast arcane spells in organic armors, so you can get dragon hide fullplate. But that might mess up your max Dex bonus to AC....
