Alright, I'm sure some of you are sick of seeing my topics by now, but I have (at least) one more. Mine this time.

Unlike the other 2 characters that I was asked to help with (and subsequently posted for more help), mine is actually going to make use of unearthed arcana.

I'm allowed 2 flaws. And I will use 2 traits as well.

As per the backstory, the flaws are Scarred Memory and Cloistered, both of which can be found here (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=187647). The traits are Quick (-1hp per level, +10 speed), and Aggressive (+2initiative, -1AC).

This is what I have so far...

Race: Dwarf

Abilities:

Str: 18
Dex: 18
Con: 18
Int: 10
Wis: 14
Cha: 6

Ranger: Blindfight, Exotic Weapon Proficiency (Maul, complete warrior pg 154), Weapon Focus(maul)
*Ranger: Two-Weapon Fighting*
Ranger: Endurance, Quick Reconnoiter
Fighter: Power Attack
Fighter: Improved Initiative
Deepwarden: Keen-Eared Scout
Deepwarden:
Exotic Weaponmaster: [Uncanny Blow]

As for classes and feats for levels 10-20... I have no idea.

The basic ideas for the character are mostly complete. Very fast: +8 initiative, 30 speed as a dwarf. Blind, but competant: All the listen skills and blindfight. Holds his own in combat: Dex and Con to AC, lots of damage and full BAB. I just dont know what direction to go from here.

The books I have available are:

PHB 1/2
Complete warrior
Complete Divine
Complete Adventurer
Races of Stone
Unearthed Arcana
Lirbris Mortis
BoED
BoVD
Lords of Madness
Heroes of Horror

Books that I can use but probably dont hold anything relevant:

Races of the Wild
Complete Arcane
Races of Destiny
Races of the dragon
Arms and Equipment guide

I'd like to keep this build, but it's not set in stone. The character will remain blind (as per background, so no healing to regain sight), and I wont use a cop out like the headband in Arms and Equip, or the deformity feats in HoH.

As for level 2 of ranger... Well, you have to have level 2 before you can take 3, but I dont plan on making use of the free Two-Weapon Fighting. But meh...

Bump.

And a question:

I was thinking about moving the abilities around a bit and adding the mineral warrior template to this guy. The ability bonuses and natural armor look great for LA+1. Any thoughts on that?

I don't think you have enough workarounds for blindness. There was a thread on this yesterday. For flavor I'd go with Cavelord for tremorsense.

I cant use Underdark.

Besides that, 7 levels of a class that really gives nothing (darkvision for a blind person..., tunnelrunner, tracking and the ability to hold my breath...). The one good ability is the strength bonus equal to cavelord level. Besides, i could get tremorsense via horizon walker a level earlier.

Um... not to burst your bubble... but mineral warrior IS from underdark.

We dont physically have the Underdark book. But the DM has allowed a few web enhancements, mineral warrior included.

Horizon Walker would also be fine, though it lacks the good flavor. Tweaking the Cavelord to give you something instead of Darkvision (scent, maybe, or a stronger boost to listen, or a very limited blindsense) would also be easy.

Where's your Hear the Unseen feat?

Yes, your Cha is dangerously low. If your DM is savvy enough to throw ability damage your way, you're dead meat.

Not sure why you feel the need to be a fast blind person.

While tweaking cavelord would normally be a viable option, we dont have Underdark anymore. Just the online mineral warrior template.

I totally spaced Hear the Unseen out. This wouldnt happen to work with quick reconnoiter would it (instaed of using a move action, it's a free action.... that would be great).

I had planned to get a couple charisma increasing items. As well as having eagle's splendor permancied.

The thought of quick warrior seemed attractive. It expanded into a blind fighter with extremely fast reflexes (which by extension, would mean faster movement). Ant +8 to initiative checks means I more or less always go first, unless I blow my roll.
