Blood Bath Drow Style [Archive] - Wizards Community

I need a class or a combo of classes that will make me invincable, since I'm playing a game where i'm the heir to one of the eight drow houses and I'm assuming I'm gunna have to try and kill everyone else.

07-24-05, 12:32 PM I think to become invincible you name your character 'IDDQD'...

What books are allowed? I assume those 3 18s are your Str, Dex, and Con? Are you looking for personal defensive power, or such a great offensive that you destroy all who threaten you?

07-25-05, 08:51 AM Are templates allowed? Drow are ECL 2 on their own, unless you take a lesser drow option which which are ECL 0 (I think). Those are in the appendix of the PGtF.

Take the Mineral Warrior template from Underdark, that will be HUGELY helpful. Burrow is 10x more useful in the underdark than on the surface, because you are always near something you can burrow into to get away, plus it is useful for sneaking into places. And you can't go wrong with DR 8/adamantine and decent physical stat bonuses, all for +1 LA.

Are you wanting to fit the normal drow stereotype of the wizards for males, clerics for females, and agile warriors for those lesser mortals who don't qualify to be wizards or clerics? :P

Or you could play a Draegloth (drow half-fiend, they have four arms), those are statted out in Champions of Ruin and are ECL 10 IIRC. They're holy creatures to the drow, requiring the blessing of Lloth to be born. Take the frenzied berserker class (or Kensai if you can pull of lawful evil, enhancing your claws) and you'll tear stuff up. See if you can get a Necklace of Natural Attacks from savage species (you enhance it just like a magical weapon and it applies those magical weapon properties to your claw attacks).
