Wll i' not a monk expert but let's see how powerful a monk could be just adding any bloodline...

monk 1
monk2
blood
monk 3
monk 4
blood
tattooed monk 1
tattooed monk 2
Shintao monk 1
Shintao monk 2
Shintao monk 3
blood
Shintao monk 4
henshin mystic 1
henshin mystic 2
henshin mystic 3
henshin mystic 4
tattooed monk 3
tattooed monk 4

this is a 19 level only build, 20° level is free for adding whatever u liko or to take an ecl + 1 race :)

this guy fights unarmed just lke a 19° level monk and adds (to all monk abilities u gain in all monk and prestige class monk)

4 lev monk + 3 bloodline +
4 lev Shintao monk + 3 bloodline +
4 lev tattooed monk + 3 bloodline +
4 lev henshin mystic + 3 bloodline =

28 levels to all abilities... OMG at level 19....

Bloodlines are a joke. For +3 ECL you better get a lot more than +1 to three stats and a collection of useless magic.

Heck, be a Feral HalfOgre and save a level. Maybe pick up that YuanTi not-a-broodguad template.

I am pretty sure you need to add together all monk levels first and then add on the +3 bloodline. If you want to abuse this ability you could do it with a lot more than monk. You could make a wizard with a caster level in the 40s or all sorts of funky stuff.

Hey, if I play a game where the DM lets me break the rules by playing as a feral (can't be used on giants) half-ogre (type: giant), then I'll do it.:D

Feral Human with the Half-Ogre template then. Also, where does everyone get it from that half-ogres are giants? I can't find any mention of their type in Savage Species. The closest I can come to anything one way or the other is under the Giant Blood ability which says "as if they were giants". If anything, the wording and the fact that the ability exists at all would suggest that they aren't giants.

Is casting considered a class ability? I mean, I think the most broken thing would be a caster.

Cleric
Blood
Blood
Wizard
Mystic T
Etc.

Shaded yellow table in that section that lists the races described the back of the book (Loxo, etc.). Half-ogre is clearly listed under type heading as "giant", just as desmodu are "monstrous humanoid" etc.

Dragon Mag sourcebooks aren't kosher with lots of DM's too -- especially the half-template stuff...if you can use it, more power to you though.

If I weren't such an honest sort and had a DM that would allow such things (any DM at all, these days...*sigh*) I might make one of my (and/or this board's) uber-templates just for fun...something like Feral Half-Minotaur (Drag temp) White Dragonspawn Mineral Warrior sounds nice -- any arguments about cheese and I could show the symbiotic puppeteer version and watch a DM cry...

I'm lost at the Dragonspawn... don't know where thats from. Dragon? Though the Feral HalfMinotaur MineralWarrior is where I'd start with a ECL +3 master o disaster.

Ah, thanks on half-ogre. Why in heaven's name did they even put in the Giant Blood ability then?

Dragonspawn is from the Dragonlance Campaign Setting. White Dragonspawn is the ultimate in Sorceror template cheese.
