Kudos to DaveTheMagicWeasel for pointing this out. So if you had a major bloodline and 5 levels in OC, you would have +8 Will save to every ally in 30' (including yourself) and +8d6 damage Avenging Strike! Nice:D Sadly, I've looked through a number of books, and most 5 level classes don't have similar abilities that depend on your class level, or explicitly say "at first level, your bonus is +1, increasing to +2 at third level and +3 at fifth level.", which means that bloodline levels would not take the bonus past its normal maximum. However, I did notice Eye of Grumsh would keep getting improved natural armour, and Blinding Spittle, and this might be a nice way to improve Death Attack DCs. Y. |

| Caelic12-24-06, 11:37 AM | You actually need more than that; you need abilities that explicitly say "Every two levels" or something to that effect. If an ability simply says "+1 at first level, +2 at 3rd level, +3 at 5th level," you cannot extrapolate and assume that it would grant +4 at 7th level for purposes of bloodlines. The bloodline trick is interesting, but people are trying to make it do more than it actually does. |
