Hello all...

I'm building a character for a three day 16th ECL adventure... ALL WotC 3.5 material (don't use anything that is obviously broken... ie no spiked chain stuff...)

Here's my plan:

Whisper Gnome (base 30 ft move, small size)

Stats are STR; CON; INT; WIS; DEX; CHR

WarB 1/Ftr 2/WarB 1/Ftr 1/BsB 4/MTh 5/WarB 2 (Full BAB +16)

Feats
1: *Weapon Focus (Great Sword)
2: *Point Blank Shot
3: *Precise Shot; Far Shot
6: Profiency Tower Shield
8: Martial Manuver (SS)
9: Martial Stance: Giant Killer
12: OPEN
15: Weapon Specialization (Great Sword)

* = required for PrC's

I have an open feat at 12th... I was thinking of taking the "Flaying" feat that deals an additional 1d6 damage against same opponent within a round after the first attack.

Taking BsB for the Lightning Ricochet ability/Melee throwing, etc...

Taking Master Thrower for the 5th level ability: Weak Spot <-- touch attacks!!!... My DM will NOT let me use Shadow Blade feat, as he feels the Dex to damage bonus is the same as Str to damage, which is nixed in the Weak Spot ability. Also gives improved crit for thrown weapons

Key Manuvers/Stances:
Giant Killer Stance (+2 to hit, +4 to damage vs larger sized opponents... I'm small ;o)

Sudden Leap (free movement set up charges), Pouncing Charge, Dancing Mongoose (only one free attack, but its one free attack...)

We get 260K no more than 130K/item... I was planning on buying an Adamantine Great Sword (small size) +1, vicious (DMG), ranvenous (+2 Champions of Ruin), collision (+2 Ex Psionics). Also plan on having an animated tower shield... ;o)

Concept: 1d10+Str+1(weapon)+2(WS)+5(collision)+4( stance)+2d6 damage first attack, melee or ranged touch... 2nd attack at same target add 3d6 to damage (ravenous + Flaying) Was going to take Power attack at 12th for actual melee attacks against weak opponents, but assume I'll be throwing most attacks.

DM's monsters will have various energy immunities/resists...

HELP: improvements? I cannot have a EXP penalty due to multiclassing, all items have to be book (armor/shield/weapons can be customed)... 12th level feat? Manuver/stance suggestions?

Thanks in advance...

Last I checked, rapid shot works with thrown weapons, and an extra attack never hurts.

heres my bloodstorm blade master thrower. I used a halfling as the base race but otherwise the concept is similar.

consider far shot for the 12th level feat. Also you appear to have 3 fighter levels, you might want to switch the 3rd one for another level of warblade

Far Shot was already taken at 3rd level... I'm noW looking at taking Ranged Weapon Mastery as it grants an additional 20 to rnage increments... that would give me 40 ft with a greatsword without an attack penalty...

3 FTR/4 WarB due to the fact that I cannot have any multiclasses penalties...

I'm am looking to drop the tower shield to regain the feat and just use a large shield (loss of 2 AC)... Regain Power Attack...

Any other thoughts? Particular manuvers?

Thanks,

Current New and Improved plan:

Whisper Gnome (base 30 ft move, small size)

Stats are STR; CON; INT; WIS; DEX; CHR

Ranger 1/Barbarian 2/Fighter 2/Master Thrower 3/Warblade 1/MTh 2/Bloodstorm Blade 4/WarB 1 (Full BAB +16)

Warblade had to be taken at 9th level so I could use martial manuver and still have a recovery method for that manuver... Guess if I'm never going to use it, I could not worry about that and make Warblade level 1 at 11th level, but that nets the 3rd level manuvers as well...

WHere's the "Practiced Initiator" feat?!?!?! lol...

<<anyone have another suggestion for a base class with good skill points and full BAB for 1st level? I defaulted to Ranger...>>

Feats
1: *Weapon Focus (short spear) <-- Greatsword
3: *Point Blank Shot
4: <Precise Shot>
5: <Far Shot>
6: Rapid Shot
9: Martial Manuver: Mighty Throw (SS1)
12: Martial stance: Giant Killing Stance (SS3)
14: <Weapon Specialization (short spear)> <-- Greatsword
15: Ranged Weapon Mastery

BsB allows me to swap "short spear" for greatsword, far shot and ranged weapon mastery make my throw anything bonus feat range increment at 40 ft!

Taking WarB later allows me to chose higher level manuvers, but now I have less options...

Thoughts? What am I missing/need to add?

Thanks!
