06-05-04, 02:50 PM Hey everybody...... anybody have a good idea for a shield n' board character? prefferebly one that shield bashs and chops at the same time........... just thought it would be pretty cool to chop someone then all of a sudden a shield blops them in the head..... yup yup 32 point stat buy for stats ummm all books but oriental and psionics ummmmmmmmmmmmm and 20th level starting gold and yeah have fun!!!!!!!!!!

06-05-04, 04:40 PM Which books do you have available? Can you use different races & templates? Do you want pure fighter, holy warrior or perhaps rogue type of a meleeist?

06-05-04, 08:33 PM Hey, yeah i want a basiclly pure fighter her can have prestige classes though ummm all books except for unearthered arcana and oriental and psionics i dont have those books so no stuff fomr those books and yeah everything esle is open for selection... yup yup

Ftr4/Barb2/Rogue3/HolyLiberator3 or 5/X
1 Ftr1 Imp Shield Bash, Expertise, TWF
2 Ftr2 Imp. Trip
3 Barb1 Imp. Disarm
4 Rog1
5 Barb2
6 Rog2 Iron Will
7 Rog3
8 HL1 Detect Evil at will, +2 vs. Enchant, Spells
9 HL2 Extra Rage, Cha to saves, Smite Evil
10 HL3 Turn Undead
11 Ftr3
12 Ftr4 Power Attack, Divine Might
...Divine Shield (sometime later)

After level 10, you can go in several directions. If you want the celestial companion, take a couple more levels of Holy Liberator. If you're going into Frenzied Berzerker, you might want to swap some of your earlier feats around so you can qualify earlier. If you plan on doing the Bull Rush thing to get attacks of opportunity, you'll probably want Combat Reflexes.

The cool thing about this build is it uses the shield both as defense AND offense as the second attack from TWF.

And you can always lose the Barb/Rog levels and add in more fighter levels if that's what you're looking for.
