guerrerodelarcoiris 01-29-06, 10:47 PM	a member of my gaming group plans to play a kind of bodyguard character. we are playing in eberron so he will be a member of house Deneith in a mission (he will be selecting the dragonmark feats from house Deneith); and also is taking endurance and diehard, thats for his personal paranoia. anyway, anyone can help with a build or a link to a build? The only thing that come sto mind is the devoted defender from sword and fist, is 3.0. but it hasn't been revised. we are starting from early levels and he has choosen to be human thanks in advance the tile was to get atention :D
PhaedrusXY 01-30-06, 12:16 AM	So you can't use any 3.0 material that hasn't been "officially" updated? I don't think the Devoted Defender really needs much in the way of updating, does it? There are some bodyguard threads in my sig, but most of them use at least 3 levels of DD. There is also a similiar ability from either a feat or class (Tactical Soldier?) in the Miniatures Handbook I think.
X-Codes 01-30-06, 12:27 AM	Yes, Tactical Soldier. Basically all the old tanking tricks work. Trip attacks, attacks of opportunity, the Stand Still feat, stunning weapons... Seriously, pick your poison. What were the rolled stats? He's a dwarf, right?
