Are there any classes/feats/etc. that grant bonus spells/day in the same way as the Dragon Disciple? I'd like a way to increase my no. of 1st levels spells, but the DD well, just sucks as a PrC.

I've already got Extra Slot, BTW, and I'm not using it b/c 1 slot for a feat is even worse than the DD.

Wonderworker from Book of Exalted Deeds gives you some bonus spells per day.

What exactly do you want so many first level spell slots for? You do realize you can use higher spell slots for lower level spells, right? It's sort of a waste, but if you need the spell, you need the spell.

There was also the 3.0 version of the Eunic something PrC from Oriental Adventures. They updated the class in some issue of Dragon, and changed it to the standard +1 existing spell level mechanic.

Eunuch warlock, and Dragon 318 or 319 (I forget which).

"Eunic" is a generic made up word. "Eunuch", which is pronounced "Eunic" is something far more dire, having to give up the family jewels for power.

Hmm.... perhaps introducing drawbacks like the Eunuch Warlock's to other classes would make them seem a bit less appealing to min/maxers who care about RP... Imagine if the cost for Dwoemerkeeper was a [insert Censoring beep here]. That would cause people to think twice before Cheating Mystra.

Probably not quite what you are looking for, but you can sacrifice a 9th level spell slot with Innate Spell(Complete Arcane?) to gain unlimited uses of a 1st level spell.

Have you seen the Arcane Manipulation feat? It's in the web except (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ex/20050202a&page=1) for Lost Empires of Faerun. Basically lets you break up a high-level spell slot into multiple lower-level slots.

Thank you. Since this never says "arcane" in the text, this works perfectly well with Archivist/Wizards (and even fits in their RP) and allows them to do yet more sick, sad things.
