so heres whats heppening.. i wonna make a bounty hunter for my friends level eight campaigne, and he was going to be like Indiana Jones (but a rapier instead of a pistol).
The original idea was that i could use the whip to trip them, pound on them with attacks (courtesy of improved trip) and then disarm them when they came closer (whip has that nicely done 15 foot reach). Here what ive planned out so far for him

Race: Human: feat - combat expertise
Level 1: Ranger - Favoured Enemy Human - improved trip
Level 2: Ranger
Level 3: Ranger - improved disarm
Level 4: Ranger
Level 5: Bloodhound (Complete Adventurer)
Level 6: Bloodhound - two weapon fighting
Level 7: Bloodhound
Level 8: Bloodhound
Next Level
Level 9: Bloodhound? - improved two weapon fighting

does anyone have any ideas on how i could improve him?

Id skip the 4th level ranger and take a fighter level instead. Indiana Jones doesnt have an animal companion anyways and the feat is good. Also, you dont have proficiency with a whip... So that extra feat there, would really help out.

Xeraph, as you know, ranger shouldn't have any amymal companion. My variant in this case is to swap las two levels of ranger to fighter-levels. IMHO it will be not so good at skills, bu you will be able to take not only improved disarm at 3rd lvl.

Oh, I miss one youe mistake (maybe?). Why you want to take two weapon fighting at 6 lvl? Doesn't ranger takes it at second?
