| PonTelon11-15-05, 10:32 PM | Ok, I'm going to be running a small dungeon(which is rare, as we are almost never in dungeons) that is set in an ancient ruins in Frostfell. The main BBEG to this dungeon will be a Brain in the Jar(Libris Mortis) with 6 levels of Psion added on top of it. It's going to have a second in command Winterspawn/Barbarian 1 that will look like the BBEG, so the BitJ can stay hidden in his frosty mug. They also have a pet young adult red dragon skeleton(MM228) there too(though he might just be guarding the room) My question to you all is, how should the BitJ do his Psionic gig. I'm thinking enchanting, but buffing his Winterspawn buddy might be better. The group he's going against is: Warmage3/Human Paragon3/Mindbender1/War Mage 2 Ranger 5/Annointed Knight 1/Skylord 3 Rogue5/Thief Acrobat 4 And an NPC Kalashtar Psion 10(telepath) And possibly NPC Windwright Captain and a Raptoran melee dude. I won't want to Optimize them solely around the party(since the BBEG won't know about them beforehand) but I have very little experience with mid-high level Psions(the Kalashtar is only my second), so any help would be greatly appreciated. I want to challenge my PCs, not kill them. =P |
