I am starting in a new game and looking for feedback from a character I am looking to play. The DM allows all 3rd party sources so I am not limited on the books I can use.

I am coming in as a level 3 paladin, human.

Stats still undetermined, but my primary is CHA and Secondary is STR followed in order by CON, WIS, DEX and INT

Assume the stats are

STR 15
DEX 13
CON 14
WIS 14
INT 12
CHA 18

feat progression:

Exotic weapon Proficiency: Oversized Fleshcleaver(quintessential warrior 2)
power attack
Ancestral Relic (granted from "Former Squire" as quintessential paladin)

I am also looking at the creation of a new feat, instead of granted the buckler bonus when using two weapon fighting, I am taking "Improved Buckler Defense" and trying to convince the DM to allow a buckler to be effective with a two handed weapon.

The oversized fleshcleaver is only 1d8, and is considered a two handed weapon. But it grants 18-20 X3 so it is rather idea to use with power attack. Also I intend to make it keen, and when my paladin can summon a special mount I am looking to make the weapon a custus (quintessential paladin) as well, affording a massive amount of magical and spiritual properties to the weapon. Also along with this I am creating a large storyline for the weapon. I am also worried about sundering blackguards....

I am thinking later I will acquire the feats: Divine Shield( complete warrior), Sacred Healing(complete divine) and with this progression, of cource extra turning :)

Items acquired:
The Fleshcleaver is only of masterwork quality, but it's metal is very strange. Later in the campaign I will unlock it's properties through the Ancestral Relic feat and expose it as Adamantine.

I also have a junkyard for a suit of armor. Base is full-plate, then I add 3 other stackable armor pieces (quintessential paladin) allotting me a +11 to ac from non-magical armor. Then I have the buckler.

Also I keep a token from the paladin I served as a squire, this is a focus for a spell later ( ladies favor from Call of Duty), but my character doesn't know that yet.

And finally I will more then likely pledge a mortal oath of guardianship to the blade, as there is a significant storyline around the weapon.

Along with that I am charged with a quest to unlock the potential of the blade and guard it. This is purely characterization, but it is the driving factor in my character to adventure.

Anything else you guys might change or add?
