Holy Cow!

Lets just starts with the basics.
Quori Shards. Now, instead of /two feats/ for a nonshaper to get into Constructor? 2 permanant HP and some cash, for a couple of Power Repositories. And then there's the Power Link. 20 of these bad boys will run you 60k, true. And 20 permanant HP. But snag one feat (Improved Toughness) and you get the ability augment a power by 40 PP 3/day. Better, it's /explicit/ in the text (unlike, say, Midnight Augmentation). And this is not even mentioning Heroic Focus, or some of the awesome new items and classes. Kalashtar just keep getting better and better. They're easily heads and shoulders above humans now, for almost any psi build in eberron. Especially with the racial sub levels. So yeah. Why doesn't this stuff get seen /more often/?

02-28-06, 01:30 AM My personal favorite is hardly broken - the feat Wand Surge.

Combine it with unfettered heroism and a strong wand, scepter, or staff, and you are a powerful combat machine.

Save DC = 12 (Base) + 6 (Cha) + 95 (Augment) + 2 (Greater Psionic Endowment) + 2 (Electricity) = DC 117

02-28-06, 03:27 AM Power Link stones have repeatedly been announced, by the authors, as awaiting errata, changing the "can" in the operant sentence to a "cannot." I forget if the unofficial errata also changed the stacking line or not. Essentially, it was intended as free augments, not Wild Surge.

Next thing you know, Legendary Force is going to be nerfed down to "Spend 2 AP, receive bonus."

The entry for the power link has an error. It should say: "This augmentation cannot result in more power points invested in the power than you have levels."

It was not intended to be free augmentation -- but instead effectively +6 pp/day.

This has been submitted as errata.
