would it be possible to make a character that can move fast enough to break the sound barrier?
just so you know that's about 1116.437009571 feet/second
or 6698.622057426 feet per round. sounds pretty impossible but then hey, so are most of the super-optimised characters on this board.

What i PM'ed you ealier

And he base starting speed is 30 for what i sent before

and lvl 1 barb.

I remember reading an archery thread about how far you could shoot an arrow. Unfortunately, I don't have the link. but it was impressive. It ended up being a couple miles, I think. But because the way DnD rounds work, the arrow traveled around Mach 2 or so, because it had to get there in (less than actually) 6 seconds.

Anyone got a link?

I can imagine someone having a base speed of 1300, but I would seriously think they had to mingle in the 3.0 OA just for Blade dancer (which doubles your speed at first level)

hell, a younge gold dragon with 10 levels in blade dancer would be just shy at 1200 base speed...
