| Rathje06-21-05, 07:41 PM | I'm just about fed up. I said I would start a D&D campaign if one of my friends also started one so I had something to play in instead of just DMing all the time. Okay, my friend decides to go ahead and do that. We plan out all this stuff for our characters. Some of you may have seen the post I made in the player's forum referring to a Paladin/Sorceror. That's the one. All five had basically figured out everything for character creation, we just had to copy this down onto character sheets (we didn't have any printed off at the time). Now he wants to change everything. He's running alignment in some screwed up system. He's only using a select few weapons, and he's changing all the weapon and armor qualities. I'm not sure which magic/wondrous items he's including. He wants to run a Fable-based game. He's the only one in the group that has played Fable. I've talked to some other players, and they aren't exactly pleased. We realize it isn't exactly the most mature thing, but we're a vengeful bunch. Me and three others would like to run incredibly powerful characters and see how it goes. Could anyone suggest four or so powerful builds? One of us would prefer a magic-user, preferably Cleric. The others don't have a preference. We are starting at level 5. We're only using Core (PHB, DMG, MM). I doubt Monster races are allowed, but it's possible. Thanks in advance. |
