Brilliant energy immunity?? [Archive] - Wizards Community

This also seems to include living constructs as Warforged :)

12-06-05, 07:36 AM The matter of hurting living constructs with brilliant energy weapons seems like something that would be left up to the DM. Personally, I would say that they can be hit, since BE ignores all nonliving matter. Since warforged have a constitution score, they are considered alive, and therefore should be vulnerable to a brilliant energy attack.

12-07-05, 10:55 AM This argument came up when Eberron was new. I think most people liked the idea that since warforged gain half benefit from healing spells that they would take half damage from Brilliant Energy. I don't remember the reasoning behind it.
