Broken bard? [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-25-04, 05:18 PM Hey all, my soon to be DM has asked me to come up with a broken half-elf Bard build. I can use only materiel from the 3.5 PHB, DMG, and MONMAN <--if aplicatable. I can not take a PrC untill 10th level and only one from the FRCS. Assume standard gold/per levels as out lined in the DMG. Hmm i've been thinking about this for a while i think i may be beat. I can figure i can do a decent job of sapport monkey. As far as healing goes i think i could fake a cleric,and I could use my music to make the real tanks more effective. And maybe pull some shenannagons with a keen rapeir. But other then that I'm a little lost. Any help?

Oh Alomst forgot i can prolly justify one or two levels in something else at maybe first level but a large amount of my levels should be in bard.

10-25-04, 05:29 PM I'd go with a social monster--crank up those Diplomacy, Bluff, and Sense Motive skills through the roof, and turn half of your opponents into allies.

10-25-04, 05:58 PM IMO you could just stick with bard all the way and be good. there's plenty of good bard build threads if you look around in the FAQ and various CO libraries (check the sticky threads for start)
