Alright, here's the bet. I want to see who can create the most broken possible character, given 18 in all stats, using only PHB, DMG, and MM1. Builds go to the full 20 levels.

For my part, I'm pretty sure a trip-happy cleric might be the most broken build possible.

Human Cleric Level 20
Domains: Travel and Trickery

Skills: Takes advantage of extra trickery skills to add bluff to his already great diplomacy score, asides from that, takes standard recommended Cleric skills, with survival as a fun bonus.

Feats:
1: Combat Expertise
Improved Trip
3: Exotic weapon, spiked chain
6: Combat Reflexes
9: Extend Spell
12: Craft Wondrous Item
15: Craft Magic Weapons and Armor
18: Quicken Spell

I remind you, all stats will be 18.

Character gets great turning, great tripping that goes along great with righteous might, and is good at just about everything he'd want to be good at. Misses out on the luck domain, but gets free freedom of movement and bonus skills, as well as time stop and the (now possibly useless) polymorph any object.

With the added benefit that you only need two of those 18s. Oh...could I give the other 18s to my animal companion? :D

Cleric 15/Hierophant 5 (Spell Power x5->CL 25) with:
Orange Ioun Stone (CL 26)
Candles of Invocation (Prepare spells as a 17th-level cleric: more slots!)
Strand of Prayer Beads (Has Bead of Karma->CL 30)
Helm of Opposite Alignment

CL 30 Words of Alignment kill most things you find with no save. SR still exists, but is generally irrelevant due to, well, CL 30. To make sure you don't kill yourself but can still kill most creatures, be, say, Lawful Good. Prepare all four types of Words of Alignment. Use Dictum/Holy Word against everything that isn't Lawful Good. Against the stuff that is, put the helm on your head to become Chaotic Evil and use Unholy Word/Word of Chaos. When you're done, use Remove Curse. Rationalize this to yourself as a way to kill more things; after all, aren't more monsters evil than good? Or get a cohort with a high Bluff score. "It's just a healing spell, sir."

Having Trickery as a domain doesn't hurt, either.
