| joemcoffee12-19-03, 07:12 AM | I'm going to be in a 3.0 Edition game soon, and we're starting at lvl 16. I definitely want to play a wizard, but I'm not sure if I want to go straight wizard, or maybe some fighter/wizard mix or something. Any suggestions on a good build??? |
| Cappo12-19-03, 07:21 AM | It's so easy in 3.0: Wizard 5/Icantatrix 8/Archmage 3 or Wizard 5/Red Wizard 5/Archmage 1 Both of them will give you absolutely insane DCs, so nothing more to care about. |
| Robert N.12-19-03, 07:26 AM | Care to elaborate on what you want, and what you can have? What books are we allowed to use? 3.0 books only? 3.0 and 3.5 books? Wizards of the Coast books only, or are third party books cool too? What setting are you in? Forgotten Realms, Dragonlance, Generic, Oriental Adventures, etc.? Anywho... Broken wizard builds... hmm.... Bard9 / Ur-Priest2 / NarDemonbinder1 / MysticTheurge8 4th Level Bard Spells (11th Level Spellcasting), 9 Bard Song Uses, 8th Level Nar Demonbinder Spells (19th Level Spellcasting), 9th Level Ur-Priest Spells (15th Level Spellcasting). Tons of spells while still retaining a viable Bard Song capability. CHA & WIS are key and need to both be levelled up to 18 and 19 respectively. MT adds to both ND & Bard levels. (must give credit to Snow Savant, master of Broken ass builds) -Robert |
