I see three options: 1) Timestop doesn't really have a duration, so no effect 2) You get 24 hours of Timestopped fun (great for spell recovery, say, infinite Arcane spells!) 3) You get 24 gameworld hours of Timestopped fun (as 2, only you can age yourself almost indefinite amounts if, for some strange reason, you want to). |
| jensun06-02-04, 05:23 PM | Timestop was erratted in 3.0 to not have a duration. |
| Critical Mass06-02-04, 05:25 PM | IIRC, it was ruled that since Time Stop speeds you up instead of slowing everyone else down, the effective duration was (near) Instantaneous and as such illegal for Persistant Spell. Edit: Damn you, 28k modem. |
| Thannin06-02-04, 07:02 PM | If you look at the 3.5 book it says a duration and it gives a range:personal. So theoretically you could be time stopped for 24 hours, however only 6 seconds of real life time would pass.. Also you wouldnt be able to manipulate any objects as per the spell.... Interesting concept... |
