| marrithl201-11-07, 08:58 PM | I made these two builds to go with my Harrier Class (found in my sig.) and I'm just wondering which one of the two you guys would say works best. (note: I cannot take any prestige classes or multiclass and I've been messing with this for some time so please don't post new ideas, just help me decide between the two. I don't understand why you have taken both Rombilar's Gambit and Leap Attack? Are you a charger or a battlefield controller? I mean, do one of them, not both. If you plan on charge/pounce focus on a big weapon, Jovar og Minotaur Axe preferably, and just smash the hell out of people. I would go with Warblade for this, since charging leaves you open for attacks the round after. Battlefield control? Wheres Stand Still, Improved Combat Reflexes and Great Combat Reflexes? And yes, something tells me Crusader and Warblade will be better at this as well. Swordsage is a ninja. Surprise you foes, Spring attack them, flank and TWF them, support you other group members with annoying crippling hits and mobility. But try to be a tank, and you will lose out. Wait, is this gestalt? Then go Swordsage. But still, think about you combat expertise, don't spread your butter to thin with those feats. |
| marrithl201-12-07, 11:26 AM | Yes this character is gestalt (has to be 20 on both sides). I can't find Improved combat reflexes or Greater combat reflexes. I like the stand still feat, but I don't think I'd take it. I took robilar's gambit and leap attack because I like the versatility it provides... |

| marrithl201-12-07, 01:36 PM | I just found out that the improved combat reflexes is an epic feat only... There is one on these boards, but it is neither good or allowable in my campaign. I still don't know where greater combat reflexes is. Anyone else out there to help me with my decision? |
| marrithl201-12-07, 02:54 PM | oh, thanks I found the feat. I like it, but I wouldn't take the Greater Combat Reflexes because -10 is not likely to hit much. :) Thanks for bringing that to my attention. |
| marrithl201-12-07, 08:42 PM | One more thing... where can I find that Jovar og Minotaur Axe? |
