Maliseth Tyranis 06-03-04, 08:29 AM	I did a search and found Master of Squirrle's Diplomacy Master, but I was wondering if maybe someone could take that sorrta idea and apply a onk to the fray? His diplomacy wouldn't have to be quite as high, I just want him to be able to use more combat (non-lethal damage of course) oriented things. If anyone has any ideas, feel free to post them. I will list a brief background of my character and my stats that I rolled. My character is going to be a Archon that was a master of combat that decided he had enough with fighting and chose to make himself a human mortal and live his life in a monastary with some monks (martial artist kind). After several years of peace & solitude, a very powerful and wise wizards discovers who he is through the Words of Creation feat and emplores him to aid him and a small band of heroes in trying to unite the world against a great evil. The wizard knows that with his skills in diplomacy, that he could be one of the only ones to unite all the kingdoms and have them put aside thier differences to fight this evil. My stats are .... 18,17,16,14,13,12 Any help would be appreciated.

crazysamaritan 06-03-04, 11:35 PM	I can't think of anything you want more than monk7/AoP13.... You have to be a little more specific... you want to focus on the monk aspects? or Turn undead/fiends/AoP spells?

Well, I still want him to have a super Diplomacy & Sense Motive, but I also want him to have some good hand to hand abilities. Kinda make him half Diplomat half Fighter. I would still like him to have a some what high caster level but not neccessarilly a full caster.
Voivode 06-04-04, 08:23 AM	Monk 7/ Apostle of Peace 13? It is possible that I am being throughly stupid here, but isn't Aspostle of Peace a 10 level prestige class? Kind of makes getting 13 levels hard. Personally, I'd go for Monk 11 / Apostle of Peace 9. This gives you Greater Flurry, and you still get 9th level spells if your Wisdom is high enough, which it should be (18 base, +8 Vow of Poverty, +2 (or more) levels) Sorry this post isn't more constructive, Maliseth, but I thought I'd better point that out.

Yeah, thanks. I noticed that too but I wasn't going to say anything to the guy...hehe Are there no other Prestige classes that you might use? Seems like just Monk/AoP wouldn't grant you as much as adding some Prestige Classes. I know that I want to add in the Emmissary of Barachiel at least 3 levels. The Conversion ability is really cool.
crazysamaritan 06-09-04, 09:54 AM	:blush: umm, yeah, wasn't paying attention, no 11+ pre-epic. I'm not a good min/max, that's why I try to just ask questions and do searches on here. I was going to suggest Exorcist if you said you wanted more of the cencure fiends ability, but that's not what you're looking for, sew I dunno what else to do for you. Greater Flurry is really good though, 5 attacks, 3 at top BAB.
