Hello mates, im looking for a good build for my evil cleric. I have pestilence and death for my domains, Nurell for my god. Im looking for a good balanced build in the since that I would like to be a melee cleric and still be able to fight well with spells. Im character is also trying to rase an army of undead. So any thoughts on what feats I should pick up my next few lvls? He is lvl 3 right now with one feat to spend.

I would suggest Quicken Spell and Divine Metamagic: Quicken Spell.

Persistant Spell & DMM: Persistant for teh melee cleric uberness by 7th level (cast peristant Divine Power). Corpsecrafter as well. Get the Deadwalker's Ring (CM). Cast Desecrate, or use the Lesser Desecration Ring before animating undead (http://boards1.wizards.com/leaving.php?destination=http://www.wizards.com/dnd/article.asp%3Fx%3Ddnd/dx20021031x). Pick up lots of Nightsticks (LM).

Melee wants: Power Attack, Imp. Bull Rush, Shocktrooper; OR Combat Expertise, Improved Trip, Combat Reflexes, EWP: Spiked Chain

Undead masters want: Corpsecrafter, among others (lots of guides on it)

Clerics want: Extend Spell, Persistant Spell, DMM: Persistant, Quicken Spell, DMM: Quicken

So, you gotta mix and match as you see fit. I'd say focus on the lower two first, and worry about the melee only afterwards. Also, find a PrC that has full casting advancement (if you go the DMM way, you don't care about your turning check that much).

Right now my character has power attack and cleve for his feats. So that right there gives him alot of help for melee, so I guess next I should get some feats to work on my magic. Which should I get right off the bat at lvl 3 and which should I get later on? Some of the feats yall posted I have never heard of. Still new to the game but learning alot every day. Anyways, thanks for th help mates, im going to read all I can about the feats and see what I can come up with.

What book are the Persistant and Corpsecrafter feats in? Are they in Complete Divine? I would definitely go through *every book at your disposal* and be sure to check with your DM, since he/she might rule some feats out.
