I need a build for a Drow with levels in an arcane spellcasting class, most likely sorcerer, and Dragon Disciple. I'm looking for about lv. 20 and i need good feats and spells to go with her. She's going to be a major player in a homebrew campaign setting i got going. I don't care if you wanna give her some fighting prowess or anything like that as long as she gets spellcasting and some levels in Dragon disciple.

She'd rely heavily on enchantments, illusions and evocations. Typical for drow. She's going to have a high Cha, Dex, maybe Int.

well uhh.. have fun and please help me out here.

Well... I think that most people would agree that the less dragon disciple the better for a caster build. Casters lose so much from having reduced casting levels. If you really want dragoney abilities then consider one or two levels in the Half Dragon Template Class (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/sp/20030912a) rather than Dragon Disciple. Dragon Disciple does give you flight, but as a caster I don't think you'll be land-bound as it is.

Aside from that, I'd suggest checking out sorcerer guides... Sorcerer is often considered sub-optimal due to the limited spell list, but that may be okay if it's for an NPC and not an adventurer. One thing's for sure, don't just take a huge list of blastey spells. Try and mix utility spells with battlefield control spells and a choice selection of blasters.

hmm thanks for that. Well the main reason for Dragon Disciple was that she wants to be more like her goddess that she worships, who is somewhat affiliated with dragons. (not done making the whole setting yet) But she's kind of an important person in the world, instead of just an average npc. She'd be the leader of a whole nation of drow, not unlike the matron mothers in drow cities in forgotten realms.

Yea, i'm on here because, well, i do not possess the DMG, i'm just a player and i'm helping create this homebrew campaign setting. The DM has his copy and he is currently using it to work on some nations and races and junk, while i start on one of the southern continents. That's where this drow comes in. Anyway, thanks, i'm just looking for ways to make her at least decent, as she'll be quite important.

Beguiler 10/ Dracolexi 10

Sorcerer 5/ Dragon Heart Mage 10/ Dragon Devotee 5

Prestige Classes are from Races of Dragon, Beguiler is from PHB II.

I have a great idea for a drow NPC, but it doesn't fit your criteria. You make it a female Cleric and then take the CE Paladin variant from Unearthed Arcana. She gets to continue to take spells, at a slower pace, as a Cleric as well as gain the variant Paladin abilities. But you wanted an arcane caster.
