I basically am trying to make a Trip monkey with some additional style. I am trying to decide between one of these 2 builds and would like some help from all of you sexxi forum dwellers. It's a 10th level build, must be Human, can be any alignment, and I can rearrange my stats (36 point build). Ideally, I want to get the AoO as they move in, use it to Trip, use the successful Trip to Sunder, then use Combat Brute and a successful Sunder to get another attack with them on the ground. Once it is my turn, I ought to be able to FA and smack them 2-3 times with reach (Flurry or Whirlwind Variant +2 for BaB). As the opponent then gets back up, I ought to be able to take another AoO with Reflexes and simply rinse and repeat. Please tell me I did that correctly...if not, please simply correct me =D Obviously the Chain and Competition Domain, combined with Imp. Sunder and Imp. Trip, followed by some wicked Combat Brute Power Attack shifting ought to really hurt someone. I took the TUndead for Divine Might obviously, but I can replace it.

Here, read this Order of the Stick (http://www.giantitp.com/cgi-bin/GiantITP/ootscript?SK=216) episode. I suggest something like this, except as a Human (I have no idea why they needed to be halfogre).

Read this. (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=163005)

A half ogre is large, and therefore gets 20' of reach all the time, and a +4 on trip rolls. Consider the goliath barbarian, with the 1st level substitution, you get to be large when you rage. Consider anything that gives you the ability to Get Big, such as a couple of psionic warrior levels for expansion, or a magical item of enlarge person.

If you just want to be a trip monkey, get the wolf berserker feat (from unapproachable east). Any +4 to trip you can get is great. Plus it means you don't need the INT for combat expertise (because wolf berserker can serve as prereq to imp. trip).

Take at least one level of exotic weapon master. Creatures with cover don't provoke AoOs from you, so they can walk up behind each other or behind a tower shield. EWM has a trick that fixes that. EWM also gives you the flurry ability with the weapon.

consider the blunt chain from oriental adventures. Less damage, but it can be used as either a reach weapon or as a double weapon. That gets extra nice with double hit. Or dual strike, I forget the exact name (it's in miniatures handbook).

But definitely read Snow Savant's thread.

Sundering weapons is generally frowned upon as a tactic, since it makes them unusable to your companions and costs your group money. I would strongly suggest you reconsider this approach unless you know the other players aren't going to be upset.

Oh snap! Thank you all very much. I wasnt planning on sundering weapons as much as I was planning on sundering shields, and we let Sunder work to degrade existing armor. I wish I could be a LA creature, but Im prohibited from doing so. Guessing from you guys opinions then, the 2 LV Barbarian dip build is better? Both avenues let me avoid pre-req for C.Expertise which also let me put points towards other stats. So which stats then? Is my DEX high enough, in the Barbarian build, to fully utilize the Combat Reflexes? I really appreciate the help folks!
