Is it doable ?

Seems to me it synergises quite nicely with the high charisma and the likely two-weapon fighting style.

Has anything been already done about this ? A single dip into cleric would give a 18 cha bard a lot of power since they get 7 divine might per day that they can use on their iterative attacks.

Thoughts, comments, builds ?

Well, it's not undoable, but have you taken a look at Snowflake Wardance? It also gives CHA to damage, but you only have to expend a use of Bardic Music.

It's in Frostburn.

If you really want to be a melee bard, I also suggest wands of Divine Power and the Arcane Strike feat. Maybe wands of Wraithstrike too.

Sure, the Pal4/Bard16 (with Devoted Performer) or the more complicated Bard8/Pal2/Sublimechord2/SacredExorcist4/EldritchKnight4, you can get lots of Cha synergy in.

Snowflake wardance gives you cha to hit for one weapon, you have to use another attempt to get cha to hit for the second weapon.

Same for Arcane Strike, I think, but I think his resources should be able to hold out so long as he doesn't go nova constantly.

It's akin to going Cleric 1 / Favored Soul XX with a crap wisdom score - it does work.

Frankly with the cleric domains you could chose, many of them give great abilities that aren't tied to class levels, so bueno. Arcane, divine, whatever ... cleric 1 with two domains and turn undead is an awesome one-level dip. The only reason it is talked about rarely is that cleric 20 is also pretty darn awesome ...
