Building a Human Cleric of the Red Knight [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-06-05, 08:47 PM I'm looking for decent PrCs to add to this character. I want them to be relevant to a battlefield-type character, and maintain full clerical casting. I'm probably going to aim for a Divine Persistent route as I've taken the Planning Domain and Extra Turning at first level.

I'm definitely taking all five levels of the Combat Medic (from Heroes of Battle), but I'm looking to fill in 5/10 more levels with a decent PrC.

Any suggestions?

06-06-05, 11:52 PM The Red Knight's a great deity choice. Think about Divine Oracle or even Loremaster.

06-07-05, 01:03 AM Divine Disciple is a always solid choice if you're OK with not advancing turning. Contemplative is a good way to add an extra domain, but if I remember correctly, Red Knight doesn't have awesome domains that you'd want to take more of them. Just throwing ideas out for your consumption.

06-07-05, 01:05 AM Warpriest isn't the best choice due to major loss of spellcasting. I would recommend Divine Disciple, Church Inquisitor, and Sacred Exorcist, if you're willing to take your character down an undead-destroying path.

War, Nobility, and Knowlege all make excellent domain choices to go with Planning.
