| eternus06-03-05, 02:01 AM | I am in a lvl 10ish campaign and wanting to rebuild my Travel/Magic cleric. I am thinking I'm to go: Human Paragon 2/Cloistered Cleric 9, taking UMD from the Human skills. But it got me thinking about domains, I like Travel and Magic, but am taking UMD to deal with the Magic domain (use my CHA and checks instead of burning a domain... don't use the spells from that domain). I would like to do Persistent, but I won't be a melee or even archer cleric, so Divine Persistent might be a waste of feats. Should I go Planning for Extend and pursue Persistent, or should I go Force and get those spells. Help me make my lvl 11 cleric a 'mage-type' cleric with less BAB/Armor and more utility. As an aside, is there any sort of thread that has covered 'dipping for domains'. I'd be interested to see just how many domains a cleric can pick up, especially domains with spells outside of cleric, or useful skills. |

I might try to pitch it, but I have to find someone with the Forgotten Realms book too. If the DM sounds receptive, I might just invest in the book for its resources. (c: Which book is that in? |
