ok so my friends and i are going to start a new campagn soon and i want to be a cleric, we always just have a bunch of fighters and one of them always dies so i want to be able to heal them, i also want to be able to fight well. it seems like a diety with war is good so i can get free weapon focus, what good dietys are there with war and what is there favoured weapon. im assuming i have to be good to cast healing spells so that limits what dietys i can worship i think? basicly i need suggestions on feats skill and maybe PrC.

thanks

get war and planning domains. Then take persistent spell, then divine metamagic (persistent spell). Then take extra turning at least once. This way you can have strong buffs on yourself 24/7. There's a good chance you'll outdo the fighters.

And if you can smotach losing a caster level, The fist of Razial prc in the book of exalted deeds is very nice. Can you state the books that are allowed though? So we can make a build.
