Hi all

At the moment my character (Chaotic Neutral) has the following stats:

Str. 9
Dex. 15 (+1 at 4th lvl)
Con. 13
Int. 18
Wis. 5
Cha. 11

HP. 20

AC: 10 + 2 (dex) + 3 (studded leather) + 1 (buckler)

Weapons: Masterwork Rapier, Handcrossbow

1st Rogue BAB +0 Light Armor Proficiency, Simple Weapon
Proficiency, SA +1d6 Improved Initiative, Dodge

2nd Rogue BAB +1 Evasion

3rd Rogue BAB +2 SA +2d6, Weapon Finesse

1st Fighter BAB +3 Mobility, All Armor Proficiency, Shield Proficiency

2nd Fighter BAB +4 Spring Attack

As you will see (my Int. is high) I have a lot of Skillpoints to spend! Thus I want to make a versatile and flexible character with a lot of social and "skill"skills (search, tumble, open lock, use magic device).

At the moment I am hesitating about:

1. Take 2 ranger lvl's to get Two Weapon Fighting (for free)
2. Take only Rogue lvl's to max out my skills
3. Walk in one or another Prestige class.

Can you give me some advice where to go?

Thanx in advance.

Regards,
Sander

Edit: I have access to all (and only) 3.5 books

With that int you will want to take a look at the swashbuckler core class in Complete Warrior for offense (int mod to damage) and the Duelist PrC in the DMG (int mod to AC).

a rogue3/swashbuckler3/fighter2/duelist10/x2 is a solid build.

i agree about the 3 levels in swashbuckler class, and may i suggest the worrier class out of the unearth arcane (pg 78). :P

Thanks for the suggestions of taking the Swashbuckler levels. However I already have given up that choice because:

level 1 and 2 are "wasted" because I have alreday Weapon Finesse. In addtion to that I receive far less skill points (2+int modifier instead of 8+int modifier of Rogue). level 3 will give me the extra damage from Int. I think it isn't worth it.

The Duelist levels are more interesting I think. The Int bonus to AC is interesting (especially with my characters +4).

Are there any other (prestige)classes that give me:
1: lots of skillpoints
2. benefit of high int
3. benefits to my fighting type (Spring Attacker)

Bye,
Sander
