The problem is, I can't figure out how to replicate all of his abilites. The symbiote seems fairly simple: use a psionic skin. But from there, I'm unsure. He would need web (or rope, maybe rogue/theif-acrobat with ranks in jump/use rope/climb?) and some strong unarmed/claw/bite melee attacks. Monk seems like it would work, but Venom is definately chaotic. Anyway, I thought I would come to you CO boarders for help. You guys seem to be able to do anything. :D

You guys seem to be able to do anything. :D I'm not sure where it is, but the king of smack is usually compared to wolverine. I'm sure with minimal changes it could be more venom-ish.

For all intents, Venom really is just wearing a very powerful symbiote/intelligent psionic skin/etc... That is where all of his abilities originate from, so its really more a matter of designing that item/graft/whatever rather than putting together appropriate class levels. His class abilities would really be oriented around the use of that magic item. What you may want to look at are the Weapon of Legacy rules (or possibly Epic Weapon of Legacy rules) and Legendary Weapons out of Unearthed Arcana (neither of which are actually restricted to weapons). I could see Venom as someone who has maxed out the Battle Scion prestige class for instance, with the Venom symbiote as his Legendary Weapon.
deathwishjoe 06-17-06, 11:49 PM	well as most of his abilities come from his symbiotic suite you should probably try and replicate that. in the psionics book I believe they have skins as an item type. add to it the magical weapon enhancements you want a viola. you have venom.
nunchuckgun 06-18-06, 01:44 AM	man, that'll be one pricey item. Assume Eddie Brock is a typical angry commoner, in order to do battle with the epic spiderman, thats gonna be huge. Of course, he aquires it through circumstance :) It'll need spiderclimb, Str ad Dex bonuses, plus its intelligent, as well as some sort of thing to shoot webs, a natural armor bonus, etc etc etc.
