09-29-03, 04:31 PM Basically a dwarven fighter, who double wields and throws dwarven waraxes.

Feats: two weapon fighting, weapon focus, throw anything, point blank shot, rapid shot, far shot, precise shot, weapon specialization, improved versions of the above, and so on...

Just checking as to whether it would be possible in 3.5 to do the following:

Declare full attack.
Whack adjacent opponent with an axe in each hand, using up a bunch of attacks.
5 ft step away, then use rapid shot to throw one of my axes at him.

I fully realize that if I did this, I'd have a -6 penalty to all my attacks.

09-29-03, 04:58 PM You can't take a 5 foot step in the middle of a full attack, so this wouldn't be possible.

I'm just not sure if the 2 weapon fighting/rapid shot synergy is still viable in 3.5, it was in 3.0.

For some reason I never noticed that in two years of playing this game. :) I always had the impression the only way you could move during a full attack was with a class ability like Supreme Cleave.

Under 3.5 rules, can a character use the 2 weapon fighting and Rapid shot feats in the same round?

10-06-03, 05:30 PM I'd say yes, because as far as i remember, Rapid Shot only says full attack action, not full attack action with a ranged weapon. Though, it might. If Rapid Shot says only that you get an extra ranged attack, then I'd say yes you can.
