Can a bard use telekinetic powers? [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-27-05, 11:08 PM A few days ago I made a post about making a telekinetic fighter. I got suggestions for psychic warrior and master of the unseen hand. I've done some research since then, and I thought of a neat idea with bards. A bard is basically someone who has so much power of the song that they can bend it too their needs. What if there was a bard whos song touched the very soul of inanimate objects causing them to dance?

Just thought it would be cool to have a bard start playing and singing and have an army of longswords dance into battle infront of him.

I'm fairly certain that this isn't possible, however I don't have access to many DnD books other than the core books and the completes.

If anyone has any insite on how to make such a character, please let me know of any suggestions.

12-27-05, 11:10 PM Hmm, could someone link the Nanobots thread? This seems right up your alley. Not really animating objects to attack, more like animating objects to provide bonuses in the thousands to AC, Attack, and Skill checks.

12-27-05, 11:18 PM if telekinesis is 4th+ level, a sublime chord could get and use it just fine while you sing I imagine, get disguise spell so you sing instead of the normal components and maybe do a dance. I dunno though
