Can Tordek do it? [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-17-05, 07:41 AM Tordek from the players handbook is a fighter level sixty and wants to take down lesser deities by himself.

Tordek uses a jovar with 15-20 critical (after improved critical). Anyone tordek criticals must succeed a DC 100+str modifier or die (feat from the dragon book).

10 fighter feats or 11 I believe. + 20 epic feats. +all the feats for being level 60.

How do I make tordek rock deities? Lots of feats to work with and a whole lot of gold.

Seriously, there have been two threads relatively recently discussing how to destroy deities. The method I prefer involves using a Dragon Ascendant to become a deity, and simultaneously wage holy war on the Material with your minions whilst engaging the deities in single combat yourself. The other, and ultimately more powerful one, involves Illithid Savant, which I consider cheating.

Look at the last few pages and you'll find them.

Gods are nearly impossible to kill without becoming a god yourself.

and that's only because the game has to give them stats...hey wait aren't the stats only for their avatar's when they assume a material form? if that's the case then killing that physical shell won't actually kill the diety.

and I second that..."What feat is that?"

(DC 10 + 1/2 character level + character’s Strength modifier)

As per the 3.5 srd in the epic feats section.

That would work out to 40 + str mod.

05-19-05, 08:18 AM How's he managing that? Only way I've ever heard of getting strength that high as a (human or half-orc, I don't remember) you can't do with fighter 60.
