A few q. on angels... [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-17-08, 10:20 AM so... while I was brain-storming for campaign and adventure ideas it occurred to that i don't know a few things... so...

1) What happens to angles if there god dies/loses his power/goes into coma?
2) Can angles reach deific power of there own?
3) Are arcangels of a particular race/template, or are they simply more powerful then others?

Obtuse angles usually shrink into acute angles. Right angles find another deity. And acute angles typically fall and become demonstrations.

2) Can angles reach deific power of there own?

Only right angles. The other angles lack the capability for divine rank.

3) Are arcangels of a particular race/template, or are they simply more powerful then others?

Arc-angels are known actually for their impressive electrical abilities and control over chain lightning. They may have templates, races or be more powerful or none of the above.

"Angels" may die/lose their power/go into come or fall. Or they just find another deity to serve. That is, if they served a deity in the first place.

If humans can, why not angels?

3) Are arcangels of a particular race/template, or are they simply more powerful then others?

"Archangels", for as far as I know, are merely the strongest of angels. Like Solars. You could use Solars for archangels in your campaign.
