| Kain Darkwind04-05-07, 02:46 PM | Princess of the Ooze Paramentals. Should she be closer to the 'true' archomentals (Imix, Olhydra) in terms of power? Or the 'lesser' archomentals (Crystalle, Ehkahk, etc)? Perhaps around the level of Sun Sing? I've heard that she is taking over her father's work rather well, and could quite possibly be ranked among the real archomentals. She has some alliance with Jubilex? Which brings up another question. Is her alignment Neutral Evil? Chaotic Neutral? |
| ripvanwormer04-05-07, 04:48 PM | Her alignment and power level are undefined - as is, for that matter, Ehkahk's and Sun Sing's. Ehkahk is just a very ancient and smart mephit with class levels, though, while Sun Sing is a being powerful enough to change the nature of the Abyss with its mere taint. Bwimb 2.0 is probably the most powerful of ooze paraelementals (unless she has a good counterpart we're unaware of), so I'd expect her to be about the same level as Crystalle (most powerful of the mineral quasielementals), however powerful you think that is (Crystalle had stats in Dragon #174, but I wouldn't expect you translate him to d20/Dicefreaks directly). Neutral Evil sounds right, like the other archomentals of evil. Yes, she's has an alliance with Juiblex, or is courting one. |
| Kain Darkwind04-06-07, 06:25 PM | There was one 'archomental' that you said might be a cross between a mephit and para-elemental. Was that Ehkahk or Chilimbia? |
| ripvanwormer04-06-07, 06:41 PM | There was one 'archomental' that you said might be a cross between a mephit and para-elemental. Was that Ehkahk or Chilimbia? That was Chilimbia, the lava mephit/magma paraelemental hybrid. He was also trained in the art of torture by a pit fiend, and surpassed his master. |
| Raymond_Luxury_Yacht04-07-07, 06:20 PM | I've heard that she is taking over her father's work rather well, and could quite possibly be ranked among the real archomentals. She has some alliance with Jubilex? Taking over her father's work would not make her an archomental, as Bwimb was explicitly not one. |
| Kain Darkwind04-08-07, 02:24 AM | Taking over her father's work would not make her an archomental, as Bwimb was explicitly not one. Which is probably why I used the conjunction 'and' rather than 'so'. |
