The third edition Deities and Demigods gives a few examples of how to become a deity (among them are earning divinity, stealing divinity, and having a deity give some or all of her divinity to another). Other than that, it's really up to each DM to hash it out with his players and explain whether they can become gods in his campaign and what that implies for the PC. (Will the player be allowed to continue playing the new deity or will the PC become an NPC etc.) Just a quick idea, a character could potentially gather enough loosened divinity (from Monte Cook's Requiem for a God (http://www.montecook.com/cgi-bin/page.cgi?mpress_R4AG)) to ascend to godhood. |

I tried to put the link on this page, but the site admistration hasn't fix the problem, so I recommend you go the the members page and look for Mith_The_Godling's page, the godling class is in his sig. |

| zook1shoe66603-04-07, 12:16 AM | yeah check with your DM. i had a half-ogre that killed Kezef the Chaos Hound and Mask gave my half-ogre a divine rank, thus became a deity. |
| Bob the Efreet03-04-07, 01:12 AM | Are you asking our permission? Because we can tell you what you're allowed to play in a game we have nothing to do with? I mean, they have rules for playing illithids, it doesn't mean your DM will let you do it. |
