OK, this is quite possibly blasphemy, but I'm wanting to stat up God. The Christian 'Deity'. I figure He'll have at least 30 Outsider HD, 20 Bard, 20 Cleric, 20 Wizard, 20 Paladin, 20 Druid, 10 Geomancer. I also figure He'll have at least 60 in all His stats, and a Divine Rank of at least 40. Anyone up to the challenge, or will I have to do this myself?

What conception of the Christian God do you plan to use? Some consider God to be infinite, in which case no finite number would be appropriate for any stat. Some consider God to be omnipotent, in which case any list of specific salient divine abilities cannot capture what He's capable of.

Articulating a particular conception may help you determine what stats will work best for your purposes.

He can't have levels in both paladin and druid, because paladins are LG (or, if you toss in UA, CG, CE, or LE) and druids must be neutral, unless He's an ex-paladin or ex-druid.

Going beyond DvR 20, there are no mechanics for statting gods. You'd need to make up an entire system.

He's a deity, such petty thoughts as "Ex Paladin due to alignment" are irrelevant I should think.

Right, which aspect do you intend on going?
You said Christian so I assume the saviour, rather than the sheppard or vengeful, but I felt the question should be asked.

Giving stats to "God in the religious sense" is impossible, and an incorrect conception of the being Christians or even most monotheists call their God (capital G). The spiritual God's power and bounds of existence extend beyond our conception and thus by definition defy attempts to quantify his power.

However, If you did want to stat up God in a sort of "literary" sense, in terms of how God acts and what powers and miracles he performs, that is entirely possible. He/she/it created vast tracts of land, sea, air, space as well as stars, which probably indicates his/her/its highest level of power. This puts him obviously into the greater deity, if not over deity category. He has been known to create massive sums of food daily, feeding millions. He has been known to lay waste to cities through plague, famine, even supernatural beings like angels. He has been known to control the weather in large areas, also controlling phenomena like earthquakes. He has been known to cover the land with vast quantities of water in a huge deluge that, if even taken as a more local occurrence, was several hundred if not thousands of miles in diameter. He has been known to impart great power upon those humans who worship him, suggesting that he has yet large sums of power to give. He has been known to be more subtle, influencing the world by various devotees and working through them by favoring them as destined.

All in all, I'd suggest that you not stat him out with classes, like many other gods. It would be best to give him all the salient divine abilities of a greater deity, if not even more so. I suggest also that you emphasize his omnipresence, thus meaning that there is a real lack of a "body" with "hp" that can be killed. Instead, God probably possesses no true form, but instead may have several avatars or share his power with mortal followers. This simplifies things in that, he most likely has no physical stats, perhaps only mental. His avatars, are very likely to not display even the high levels of strength or dexterity you are suggesting. I say avatars, but even these avatars are much less powerful than the conventional deity avatar, at least in terms of physical power. Give God some specific spells if it is seen to be used by him directly or his followers. However, beyond that, give God the ability to shape his own spells far beyond the limits of 20th level or perhaps even epic spell casting.

This is all well and good, but I'm guessing this brings up a big point: how do you kill God? I wouldn't say it's impossible, but certainly not so in any conventional sense. Several ideas may revolve around drawing out God's power by having his devoted either overuse or abuse their given powers. Killing God's proxy agents, like avatars, angels, and followers. God is known to exhibit his power through those of his followers and other associated beings, thus killing them would effectively be making him less powerful. Perhaps killing god is a matter of supplanting him by tapping into his power or whatever power he utilizes. Who knows? but it would be an interesting plot point if anyone really did want to kill god. As the being that likely created the prime material and several upper planes, it would be interesting to see what is to happen with them when the God who created them is drained of all his energy. Does the land cease to exist? does it whither and die? Does it exist, but now aimless, and allignmentless?

These are all my contributions towards making the monotheistic biblical God a more realizable aspect of your game. That's of course unless you're just posting this out of amusement to see what responses you get back in which case **** you.

I wrote down an entire campaign based around a fantasy inspiration of renaissance Europe with magic and Planescape

Just hop over to the Planescape forums and look up the old thread "God in Planescape")

I stopped posting in the thread before I fnished working on the campaign, sorry to those who wanted to see the results by the way,
But once I finished writing down the campaign, it became simply impossible to post the results of my work, it would have simply taken too long...

But basically we mostly agreed on a LG Greater Deity of divine rank 19-20 with the following domains: Good, Healing, Inquisition, Sun, Mysticism, Magic, Community and Time
This came after we debated the differences between christianity, judaism and islam even if the religions all worship the same God as well as integrating the elements of jewish mysticism in the Kabbalah, Sufi mysticism, esoteric christians orders like the Rosicrucians etc. (wich explained access to magic, mysticism and time domains), commonly aknowledged miracles and other concepts.

Works fine to me for a fantasy literary interpretation...

I was thinking access to all domains except Evil and Chaos, since God is sort of a father figure who must discipline his children occasionally (destruction, death and the like), but he is also a loving and forgiving God who gives every possible chance to come to him and more (Good, Healing, Sun, etc).

Discussion of real-world religion is (to put it mildly) a very touchy subject. People kill each other over this stuff every day (and that's not an exaggeration). Which is one of the reasons we don't allow discussion of real-world religions (or politics) anywhere on these forums (or in chat).
