Depends on what natural immunities the monster had. At the extreme low levels, many of the immunities aren't even available to a party as attack options, so they are moot. At the extreme high levels, the base creature may possess those immunities already. I'd go with +4 as a nice easy flat number, but you'd have to determine case by case. DR 10/epic will probably render most 4th level or lower parties incapable of physical combat with the creature. SR 32 will put most spellcasters out of work. Etc. Consider these things.

...Dude, a Sorc casting Magic Missile would still need to beat his SR to get the spell to affect him. SR 32 means that you need a Caster Check of at least 33 to affect him, meaning 1d20+caster level+ one other bonus, I think it's the one from your spellcasting stat.

you are right and i already know that. i just was pretty damn sure magic misslie where one of those few spells who did ignore spell resistance. turns out i was wrong:embarrass

I think most damage dealing spells do not ignore spell resistance. None that I know of do, but then, I'm not the Spell Compendium, so I don't know for sure.

Damage dealing spells that are Conjuration seem to ignore SR more than those that are Evocation.

Incidentaly, like AC, you only need to match SR, not beat it. A caster level check 32 is required to penetrate SR 32. Not 33.

Don't forget that even DR 0 grants the divine stat array.

Well given that you're the DM, yes, of course it's "only if you decide so".

You are correct that a non-god DR 0 quasi-deity monster doesn't get the array.

I think +4 CR sounds about right. When considering LA adjustment, +6 is the generally agreed upon number AFAIK.

If you look at it like a template, you also have to consider the HD of the base creature. At level 10, DR 10/epic and SR 32 is very powerful and you should probably count it as more than +4 CR. At epic levels, it's cute but nothing less than you should expect from opponents.

Being a god brings about certain subtle benefits though, such as ignoring an Antimagic Field. There's also some interesting immunities, even at DvR 0 (immunity to mind-affecting and transmutation rules out most save-or-suffers).
