Elemental Lords and other deity-like creatures [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-05-07, 12:01 AM i was re-reading my newer Dragon mags and noticed in the article about the good elemental lords.

Bristia Pel, ?
Gazra the Shifting Emporer, ?
Chilimba, the evil elemental lord of magma
Ehkahk, , the evil elemental lord of Smoke
Ty-h'kadi, the elemental lord of Storms
Alu Khan Son, the elemental lord of dust
Crystalle, the elemental lord of Minerals

Azer King Amaimon
Persona, ?
Rennbuu, Slaadi Lord of Color

i was wondering... i keep seeing things about good and evil elemental lords... but not really anything about chaotic or lawful ones. are there any C- or L- elemental lords?

09-05-07, 02:25 AM Not to my knowledge. The closes thing that come to a elemental being affiliated to law or chaos are the dukes of Aaqa (hope the spelling is right), but they are Vaati (again, hope the spelling is right), creature from the inner plane of air.

Relativelly powerfull in 2nd (depending on class and level), the Vaati are not close to Elementals Lords (but a 20th level something Vaati is powerfull so...). Vaati were featured in the first instalement of the Age of Worm Arc in Dungeon Mag (God have its soul). Don't remember the #.

The Vaati battled the Queen of Chaos (obirith). During that war, all the Elementals Lords sided with one of the two sides. Don't think all the good Lords were with law and the evil ones sides with chaos, it was all mixed.

09-05-07, 08:46 PM yeah have the Rod of Seven Parts set.... i also remember someone commenting that the CG chars got pulled into the L- side, which they didnt like

09-05-07, 09:27 PM Check the 2E products The Inner Planes and maybe the Planescape Monstrous Compendium Appendix III for some details on some of them. Renbuu, though, is a slaad; the vaati are primarily beings of Law, and came from Mechanus.

Oh, my mistake.

Vaati were featured in the first instalement of the Age of Worm Arc in Dungeon Mag (God have its soul). Don't remember the #.

The Age of Worms Adventure Path, which featured alot of them, started in issue #124, and ended at #135.
