| ryuspearhead11-22-07, 04:41 PM | Ok I'm creating a Demigod of Heroes but I'm stuck without a name. He's a human turned demigod NG who also runs a guild . my question is simple whats good name for him? |
| Mr_Seth11-22-07, 05:05 PM | Chuck Norris. ... Okay, okay, all joking aside, tell us more. What's this guy's story? His dogma? What, to him, constitutes a hero? |
| ryuspearhead11-22-07, 05:18 PM | His dogma is that those who worship him must go out of the way to commit heroic deeds and to help others .He's kind and heroic and those in his guild tend to gain great power. His dogma describes a hero to him. He started as a normal adventurer , a fighter who later multi-classed as a sorcerer him and his party gained immense power and wealth but the gods favored him being the golden boy of the party quickly him to a demi-deities level, as a new demigod he quickly added those in his party giving them each divine level 0 and then started guild for heroes like him open to all good heroes on his demi plane within Celestia . |
| Bloodsoul11-22-07, 06:55 PM | How about, simply enough, "Heero"? If nothing else, it gives him an excuse to play with giant constructs. :shifty: |
| ryuspearhead11-22-07, 07:32 PM | maybe Hiro? |
| Taeldrin Laesrash11-22-07, 07:51 PM | You could just do something tongue-in-cheek, like Heroicus or something. If you want to be serious, look for words meaning pious or light, and change a few letters until you have something fantasy-ish. I do that a lot. |
| Dunamin11-23-07, 02:24 AM | Wait, why is his realm in LG Celestia, when he himself is NG? Wouldn't it be more appropriate in Bytopia, Elysium, or the Beastlands? |
| Daybreaker11-23-07, 04:02 AM | What did you call him before he was a god? |
| Zousha_Omenohu11-23-07, 01:38 PM | I think Ryuspearhead is just coming up with this with no prior character, ergo the necessity for a name. Just because this character was a mortal doesn't mean it was Ryuspearhead's character. |
| CryoSilver11-23-07, 01:50 PM | Pick a language and find a name that means "hero" or something similar. Latin: Aloysius: famous in war Norweigan: Norbert: bright hero Polish: Ludoslaw: loves glory |
| ryuspearhead11-23-07, 04:30 PM | Aloysius sounds good thanks |
| ryuspearhead11-23-07, 04:31 PM | bingo |
