| Faithkeep03-25-07, 12:03 AM | Is there a tangible advantage in worshipping a Greater Deity like Pelor over worshipping an Intermediate one like St. Cuthbert? |
| Fireclave03-25-07, 12:05 AM | Simple answer: Nope. Complex Answer: Ask your DM. |

In the later case the cleric has a bigger church behind him, but for the personal power it's the same. The time when only intermediate and higher deities could grant all levels of divine magic is over. |
| Khael03-25-07, 07:52 AM | Simple answer: Nope. Complex Answer: Ask your DM. Relly complex answer: If all gods go thermo-nuclear on each other, the greater god has more chance of surviving the backlash. Or the demi-god who stayed out of it, hiding in the safest place. So the greater god woshipper has more chance of having a god to pray to after the war. It could happen. Or more applicably, beyond the fact the most powerful the god, the more worshippers, the more allies you therefore theorically have, no tangible advantage really. |
| ripvanwormer03-25-07, 03:19 PM | If anything, I think it's more advantageous to worship a demigod. A greater or intermediate god has responsibility for great cosmic forces over a great deal of territory; a demigod only has a few worshipers to worry about, and may be just starting out. The demigod will be able to devote more resources to each individual worshiper or cleric than a greater god, with its broader responsibility, is able to. |

| Faithkeep03-26-07, 10:14 AM | Okay cool. :) I guess I'm gonna go with intermediate. |
| crimsonwolf03-26-07, 02:09 PM | Illuimians are so strong then... its like every other person that dies is a demi god |
