| Bane_of_Morgoth05-22-07, 06:18 PM | Does anyone have stats for Cthulhu? |
| Salla05-22-07, 07:31 PM | He was actually printed illegally in the 1st Edition Deities and Demigods first printing (before lawsuits were levelled), though those stats would be pretty meaningless in the here and now. |
| Bane_of_Morgoth05-22-07, 08:00 PM | They don't have to be official stats. I just need some stats (custom or, if any, official) for a Cthulhu based campaign I'm making. |

More seriously, there was a Call of C'thulhu d20 game (no idea who published it), but I doubt it provided stats for him. |
| Dyrcona05-22-07, 08:41 PM | If you're looking for a list of domains that Cthulhu-worshippers could get. I say he'd likely have Chaos, Evil, and Madness. I'd maybe add Death, Magic and Trickery, too. I'd probably consider him a Lesser God with followers mostly being Outsiders. |
| Bane_of_Morgoth05-22-07, 09:06 PM | You think he should maybe be workshiped by Mind Flayers as well? |
| Dyrcona05-22-07, 09:14 PM | You think he should maybe be workshiped by Mind Flayers as well? Sure. You could even give them some special relationship to Cthulhu and maybe a different name since they resemble him so much. |

| Bane_of_Morgoth05-22-07, 09:29 PM | Anyone have some hombrewed stats for Cthulhu? I'd realy appreciate it. |
| treetrunker05-23-07, 12:38 AM | What the heck is Cthulhu? |

| Warforged Goblin05-23-07, 08:23 AM | The only thing I remember about C'thulu's stats is this: He eats 1d20 people per round. I think that's all he needs... |
| Mindolin05-23-07, 12:26 PM | What I would probably do is have them face an avatar of Cthulu, since the real thing would most likely have an effect similar to what has been described. Give us a range of levels for what you have in mind for your characters to be when they get to fight Cthulu, since that would make it easier to get a good set of stats for your use. Personally, what I would do is stat him as a Mind Flayer, paragon at higher levels, with the Half-Dragon (green) or Green Dragonspawn from Dragonlance, override the limitation on the former for only large creatures having the wings. Give him levels of sorcerer and you've got a fairly good approximation of Cthulu. And add more tentacles around the mouth, but with only four being strong enough to use as a weapon, and you've finished |

So I'm thinking of a Cthulhu avatar with CR: 25-27 and being a Colossal Outsider (aquatic, water, extraplanar), with some Special Attacks and Spell Like Abilities thrown into the mix. Think you can come up with something like that? |
| Theskippingman05-24-07, 10:42 AM | Someone statted him out here, although it wasn't particularly special and needs some editing and proofreading: http://community.dicefreaks.com/viewtopic.php?t=911 |
| Kursk05-24-07, 04:50 PM | Does anyone have stats for Cthulhu? In my Deities & Demi-gods book. It is © material though. |
| ArcTan05-24-07, 10:01 PM | It did. It's a pretty good red. It's main problem is that it makes the Great Old Ones defeatable. Well, it's still not easy, or permanent. I mean, y'all do remember that Cthulhu was, in fact, defeated in the original book Call of Cthulhu, right? Sure, they had to drive a ship through his head, but still. |
