Lord_of_Darkness 03-02-07, 10:24 AM	i am looking for a l/e god but it could be a n/e or l/n. the favored weapon i would like to be a sword (not a rapier or short-sword though) i am looking for any that are pre-made or that you created, but i would like everything filled in (domains, favored weapon, name, etc. etc. etc.) any suggestions?
TheHarrow 03-02-07, 06:14 PM	Samael 'The Venom of God' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samael), Greater diety (DvR 19) Alignment: Lawful Evil Symbol: A dull-yellow, demon-headed dog-like monster Holy Weapon: Longsword Domains: Evil, Law, Strength, Darkness
ElIsRa 03-03-07, 03:33 AM	Personally, if I am looking for a LE god, the top of my list has to be Hextor and Wee Jas. Then again, I have a thing for the Domination domain (and the Monstrous Thrall spell). I know it isn't a sword, but Hextor's Relic "Chain of Obedience" means you don't care. A +2 unholy spiked chain that you can grapple with and can cast an unlimited number of "Dominate Monster" spells (DC 22). That said, a good LE sword wielder is Surtr, Lord of Fire Giants. Followers of Surtur learn respect for the flame. Domains:Evil, Lawful, War, Fire, Strength. Favored Weapon:Great Sword
FrostHammer 03-03-07, 03:45 AM	Isn't Wee Jas True Neutral?
Ordbyrht 03-03-07, 09:20 AM	Isn't Wee Jas True Neutral? Wee Jas is Lawful Neutral, with tendencies toward Lawful Evil. Her favored weapon is a dagger though, so she wouldn't work for the original poster. I'll do some digging and post some gods that could work (Hextor wouldn't either, he favors the flail). [EDIT: Here's a list I just wrote up. It contains deities from Oerth and Faerun and also contains a few from the Japanese, Greek, Babylonian and Norse pantheons] Amatsu-Mikaboshi Lawful Evil intermediate deity of Secrets and Temptation Domains: Darkness, Evil, Knowledge, Law Favored Weapon(s): ninja-to (scimitar) Hachiman Lawful Neutral intermediate deity of War and Bravery Domains: Courage, Law, Strength, War Favored Weapon(s): katana (bastard sword) Hades Neutral Evil greater deity of Death, the Underworld, and Wealth Domains: Death, Earth, Evil Favored Weapon(s): longsword Hel Neutral Evil intermediate deity of Death and the Underworld Domains: Death, Destruction, Evil Favored Weapon(s): longsword Helm Lawful Neutral intermediate deity of Guardians and Protectors Domains: Law, Planning, Protection, Strength Favored Weapon(s): bastard sword Ilneval Neutral Evil lesser deity of War and Strategy Domains: Destruction, Evil, Orc, Planning, War Favored Weapon(s): longsword Kelemvor Lawful Neutral greater deity of Death Domains: Fate, Law, Protection, Repose, Travel Favored Weapon(s): bastard sword Lendor Lawful Neutral intermediate deity of Time, Patience, and Study Domains: Knowledge, Law, Mind, Oracle, Protection, Rune Favored Weapon(s): greatsword Mask Neutral Evil lesser deity of Shadows and Thieves Domains: Darkness, Evil, Luck, Trickery Favored Weapon(s): longsword Nergal Neutral Evil lesser deity of Death and the Underworld Domains: Death, Earth, Evil Favored Weapon(s): longsword Pyremius Neutral Evil lesser deity of Fire, Poison, and Murder Domains: Destruction, Evil, Fire, Madness, Mysticism Favored Weapon(s): longsword, whip Red Knight Lawful Neutral demi deity of Strategy Domains: Law, Nobility, Planning, War Favored Weapon(s): longsword Surtur Lawful Evil intermediate deity of War and Fire Domains: Evil, Fire, Law, Strength, War Favored Weapon(s): longsword Typhos Lawful Evil intermediate(?) deity of Tyranny Domains: Evil, Law, Tyranny, War Favored Weapon(s): greatsword Tyr Lawful Neutral intermediate deity of Courage and Strategy Domains: Law, Protection, War Favored Weapon(s): longsword
alchemyprime 03-03-07, 12:53 PM	From my world: Ambroa, Goddess of Female Superiority LN Community, Feast, Protection, Law, Liberation, Life, Strength Shortsword Cyan, Goddess of the Sky LN Air, Darkness, Law, Meditation, Sun Scimitar Hedron Wroth, God of Necromancy and Evil Spells LE Death, Evil, Law, Necromancy, Pestilence Bastard Sword (Katana) Quetzalcoatl (my version) LN Air, Animal, Law, Scalykind Falchion (In my campaign, his fighting with Tezcatlipoca almost destroyed the sun, and Amaterasu Omikami had to take it to protect it.) Farain, Dwarven God of Honor LN Dwarf, Law, Strength, War Bastard Sword That's all I have for your prerquisites. I also have Tyr, Surtur, and Hachiman in my campaign, but my Hachiman in true Neutral, and I didn't want to retype what was already said.

Lord_of_Darkness 03-03-07, 01:34 PM	i'm sorry. i didn't specify well enough. my character is a l/e fighter/rogue. he has his own strict code of honor, so i don't want the god to be super evil and cruel. he is not fairly devoted to his god, so it has to match him. some of the suggestions might work though.
alchemyprime 03-03-07, 03:39 PM	Well, if it doesn't have to fit exactly... Maybe Galov Kalar. CE Artifice, Destruction, Chaos, Evil Greatsword God of Constructs and Tyranny. He is, in essence, Megatron. As a god.
blackjackg 03-03-07, 06:03 PM	That was an outstanding list that Ordbyrht provided, but I managed to dig out a few more. You didn't specify a race, but these three are all associated with a particular race: Hobgoblin, Gnome and Human respectively Nomog-Geaya, Lesser Deity Portfolio: Hobgoblins, War, Authority Alignment: LE Favoured Weapons: Longsword or handaxe Domains: Courage, Evil, Law, Strength, Tyranny, War Source: Living Greyhawk Deities List Rill Cleverthrush, Lesser Deity Portfolio: Invention, Creation, Sky Alignment: LN Favoured Weapon: Longsword Domains: Air, Knowledge, Magic, Travel Source: Races of Stone, p.45 Zarus, Greater Deity Portfolio: Humanity, Domination, Perfection Alignment: LE Favoured Weapon: Greatsword Domains: Destiny, Evil, Law, Strength War Source: Races of Destiny, pp. 19-20 If your character is human, Zarus is probably the closest you're going to find to what you're looking for (short of biting the bullet and making up your own god).
Shadow_lancer 03-30-07, 12:38 PM	Here are a couple I've created and have had a good time with. Vera Alignment: LE Favoured Weapon: Rapier Domains: Evil, Death, Magic Vera is the goddess of Vampires and Necromancers (Specificly Liches) Regnier Alignment: CE Favoured weapon: Greatsword Domains: Chaos, Evil, Fire Regnier is the god of total war, explosions, and Barbarians. Hope this helps
