Sephylus 07-05-07, 11:08 PM	Lethe : Deity of the Plane of Shadow Chaotic Neutral Domains: Chaos, Magic, Trickery and Shadow Lethe is a benevolent deity of whim. He appears in a variety of non-descript humanoid forms. Often referred to as the Uncaring or Forgetful god, Lethe is prone to random acts and changes of doctrine. Clerics of Lethe can never be lawfully aligned and lose access to divine spells anytime their alignment is altered as such. There are good, neutral and evil factions that fall under Lethe’s worship and even fight amongst themselves for power at times. Minions of the Plane of Shadow are often pressing into the Material plane to subvert it for their own purposes. Likewise there are small numbers of clerics on the Material plane with a vested interest in keeping the evil minions of Shadow at bay. Since the Material and Shadow planes overlap Clerics can draw on Lethe’s power equally on either Plane. There are no temples to Lethe on the Material plane. In the plane of Shadow, many of the mirrored sites of Boccob are used for normal worship. Likewise, are the mirrored sites of Vecna used by the evil troublemakers of Lethe. As such in the Material plane you may find followers of the Shadow in like locations.
sciborg2 07-06-07, 02:00 PM	I like it - it separates the god from being dependent on the Prime (where it seems every god needs to buy "head real estate", and its not evil which the Shadow is usually associated with.
