All to all folks.
Do You know the entire list past and future of epic fiends like: demon lords (with dragon's out now:( ) and future appareance of this fiends. I love the great work on demonomicon articles. But I add divine rank 0 or 1 to this fiends (AD&D 1 savior...).
And for Archdevils?
And for Yugoloth's lords?
And for Slaads lords?

Thank You.
But, in what draco-mag are the epic fiends?
Now draco-mag is in the WARPZONE what is the future for the official stats of epic fiends?
And the list will be stopped with the demon lords...:(
I think that, if You are Ad&D 1 fan like me YOU LIKE the archfiends (Daemon/SLAAD/Devils/Demons). They're the true epic foes (and not the strange bestiary in the epic handbook...), and I like the stats block of Draco-mag; the stats block of dicefreak is a very good work but, the CR are too high (80 for Asmo); the max level for my campaign was 23 (thus the stats block of draco-mag is enough + divine ranks from 0 to 5 [advice from Deities and Demi-gods] max...) and we give up the characters to make news at level 1.
In AD&D the things were clear for the archfiends: complete lists in the various MM (I know: not for the infinite demons...), god-like powers in Legend and Lore & Manual of the Plane.
In the D&D 3/3.5 the DM must wait an infinite time for discovering stats block in various FC (and only aspects stats...), draco-mag (archelementals of evil or good or epic demon lords...)...it's boring.

Slaad are not fiends. And stats from Dicefreaks aren't objectively too high - they make perfect sense in that cosmology. The only reason why they'd be too high is because you simply subscribe to a different cosmology.

ALSO they made The Gates Of Hell. basically it tells you about hell, the devils, arch dukes, lords of the nine, etc.

Slaad are not fiends.

No more than modrons are. It's still probably worth listing them for those who want to know their names.

A list of epic modrons would be harder. Primus, certainly. Should the secundi and tertians be epic as well? Probably. Maybe others, too. There would also be epic formian queens and elder inevitables, and extremely powerful classed demodands (as well as their creator, Apomps).

My versions of the arcanaloths A'kin and Shemeshka the Marauder are both epic.

Although I agree in principal, the challenge would be adjusting the current modron ranks in order to have a broader spread of the... hierarch? modrons (don't have any books around to check the titles or CRs). It also depends on where one places Primus. At DF, it's probably around the level of Asmodeus, so equivalent to a DvR 18 deity, which means that the secundi would be at least demigods, if not greater in power, which -- depending on a wide range of factors -- could be around CR 40. Working from there, I'm not sure how that would pan out for CR 10 and up.

Yes to everyone but Apomps. He's dead. Cause I hate him. :) However, if we're talking about "official" WotC material, yes, he too'd be epic.

Honestly, I don't think Primus should be the equivalent of Asmodeus. After all, LN is far more contested than LE - there's Vaati, Formians and Modrons who each have a share.
And Serge: I stand by the fact that we can make Apomps look crap and weak without killing him off entirely. *places his hand over that poor Triple-Aspected one*

I'd make him the equivalent of Asmo myself. The Vaati are lawful, but not exemplars of Law, and the bugs are dead to me (and non-native to mechanus). ;)

I think Witch is referring to the direction DF has taken with both the vaati and the formians as exemplars of Law.

Incidentally why aren't the vaati exemplars of Law to you? They seem to fit despite the relative lack of cosmological importance we've seen in them aside from the decisive stalemate between Chaos and Law after the whole debacle with the rod of seven parts.

I sort of guessed you did something nasty to those bugs :D It's certainly developable, ofcourse, but my suggestion was mainly aimed at Serge and based largely on Alratan's work with the planes of Law - it's an interesting read. I support that vision because, while I don't utterly oppose the existence of the modrons, I really don't like them as the single exemplars of law. They just seem too silly to me.

Edit: Serge got my intent :)

Because they're inner planes natives. They represent Law just as much as balors represent elemental fire, or gelugons represent paraelemental ice.

I haven't done anything with them in my own campaign, minimized them more than not, and used a hive of them in Acheron once. Though I did write a very short tale with a rogue secundus obliterating a bunch of formians.

And as far as the Modrons being unopposed, I've used the Parai (visilights) and Moignos as opposing viewpoints and manifestations of their alignment, so the Modrons aren't unopposed by any means in my campaigns.

(As I clarified somewhat later, my comment was to Serge about the Dicefreaks view, where the Vaati aren't inner planes natives at all.)
