| UnrelentingHoror06-30-07, 05:41 PM | You could go with troglodytes, They're lizard people and have a pretty mean god thing. It's reminiscent of one of the gods from the cthulhu mythos if I remember correctly. But yeah if your only concerned with mean lizard people who have a god that wants them to do bad stuff and sacrifice things, go with the Trogs. Or if your dead set on lizard men and you want to stay with canon gods, you could say theres a faction in your world that worships erythnuul or something, you could even base alot of their practices on the mayans and aztecs *shudders* If you want extreme sacrifices they got it my friend, do some research. |

| Taeldrin Laesrash07-01-07, 10:02 AM | The troglodytes do have a good god for this kind of thing: The Eater of Souls, CE Laogzed. I don't know where you can get a lot of info, but you could probably make up whatever's appropriate. |
| d4rkc4rn4ge07-02-07, 02:24 AM | i ve got a deity all fleshed out i just need a name for him |
| Sim_antix07-02-07, 03:14 AM | i ve got a deity all fleshed out i just need a name for him Borrowing from Warhammer I made my Lizardmen "South American" an amalgam of Aztec and others. To that end their dark god of sacrafices is named Tezcatlipoca the Smoking Mirror. |
| timidbarbarian07-02-07, 03:45 AM | Is that a Jim Morrison reference? Edit: Oh wait, I suppose that would be the Lizard King. |
| d4rkc4rn4ge07-06-07, 03:16 AM | gonna use sobek after a nice revamp |
| blackjackg07-07-07, 02:28 PM | I realize this topic may be dead, but I just thought I'd mention Sess'inek. He's a Tanar'ri lord from 2nd Ed. Monster Mythology, who is basically a demigod of evil lizardmen. Wouldn't take much to update him to 3.5. |

| Manyfist07-08-07, 05:20 PM | I personally like the Lizards being "South American" with a mix of Aztec, Maya, Inca...etc. Raiding and capturing other races sacrificing them for their gods who demand blood. |

| Zousha_Omenohu07-09-07, 01:01 AM | I recall a name that was used in Neverwinter Nights 2, when you encounter a religious gathering of lizardlings (weaker versions of lizardfolk). They worshipped a being called the Stone God. If you ended up fighting them, the shaman says: "Kill the warm-bloods! Sacrifice them to the Stone God!" May be worth considering. I don't know if it's one of Semuyana's monikers or not. |
| Thurbane07-09-07, 05:01 AM | Isn't there a demon-lord who causes Lizard Kings to emerge from the Lizard Folk? |
| blackjackg07-09-07, 01:20 PM | Isn't there a demon-lord who causes Lizard Kings to emerge from the Lizard Folk? That was the aforementioned Sess'inek. |
