| DMaster4204-12-07, 12:07 AM | I am on a mission to stat Lucifer after he was defeated by Asmodeus (I'm assuming that he survived and escaped somehow). He is now traveling the Material Plane trying to atone and rise to Celestia once more. Now, I'm going to stat him basically as a celestial, but really he hasn't achieved full powers of what he had when he was first a celestial (I'm using the back story that he is a fallen celestial). I'm using DiceFreaks rules, but I'm going to have to go a little off road because their Cosmic Entities template hasn't been done for Celestials. So I was thinking about making him with 40-50 outsider HD and 40-50 class levels (Paladin/Cleric most likely). I'm probably going to say that the Supreme Virtue went and changed him to make him like that since he was definitely different in Hell. Any suggestions or comments? Please don't just tell me it can't/shouldn't be done. That's not helpful. Constructive criticism is what I need. If anyone saw my thread on the DiceFreaks website, I didn't get to see it after I posted before the site had some problems (or at least I can't get to it), so I will move this stuff to that thread when the site is back up. Thanks. |

Lucifer would not atone. for anything. also the better way to do this is to use The Tome of Fiends (http://bb.bbboy.net/thegamingden-viewthread?forum=1&thread=688). |
| cruxvader04-12-07, 12:30 AM | so anything that stands for common sense is satanic? |
| Prak, the Mad04-12-07, 12:37 AM | huh? |
| DMaster4204-12-07, 01:24 AM | Again, I'm assuming that he is atoning with a nudge of the Supreme Virtue (overdiety of good). This is a task as much for my current campaign as for other to use. Sure he has pride, but that can be twisted to say that the Overlord of Hell hurt his pride so much that he would do anything to do as much damage as inhumanly possible to Hell and Asmodeus. That's wear the atoning and the celestials come into play. At least that's my reasoning. Maybe the Supreme had this planned. He and the Overlord of Hell are overgods, we mere mortals can not possibly fathom the level of planning and plotting they have. |
| Prak, the Mad04-12-07, 02:32 PM | meh, we can, it's all about worship. anyway, like I said, the best way to stat Lucifer woud be to use the Tome of Fiends. |
| Witch04-12-07, 02:42 PM | meh, we can, it's all about worship. anyway, like I said, the best way to stat Lucifer woud be to use the Tome of Fiends. He's going by Dicefreaks rules. I rather doubt the Tome of Fiends would be sufficient, given the fact that Lucifer was a DvR 18 deity earlier, in DF vision. DMaster42; just ask advice on this on Dicefreaks when it gets back on - it's rather unlikely people will be able to help here due to the alternate cosmology we use. |
| DMaster4204-12-07, 02:44 PM | Will do Witch. *salutes* |
| Prak, the Mad04-12-07, 02:48 PM | yeah, I don't frequent dicefreaks, to many websites to remember as it is... check there, it'll be a lot more helpful than a s#!tstorm brewing satanist on these boards will.... I meant myself. |
| Romtos04-14-07, 03:15 AM | There was a wonderful history concerning Lucifer the Satan on Dicefreaks. Long story, well written. |
| DMaster4204-14-07, 07:00 PM | Yeah, I read it. It's very nice. I'm using it for this version of him. Although there are couple of versions so we could be thinking of a couple of different stories. |
